Oxford Tutorial College was first accredited by the British
Accreditation Council for Independent Further and Higher Education in
1986. It was most recently re-inspected in February 2005.
BAC's inspectors reported on a good or excellent level of provision
in all of the areas assessed during the visit. They considered that the
College's system of tutorial and small group teaching was very
effectively used to provide classes which were fully focussed on the
needs and interests of each student. Students themselves were very
positive about their experience, considering that the system had enabled
them to develop as confident learners learners who could look forward to
the challenges of higher education. The College was well managed, with a
large and well qualified teaching staff. Administrative systems and
student welfare support were excellent.
Oxford Tutorial College was awarded continuing accreditation in April
2005.
